Convergence of the PSTN and IP telecommunication worlds

IP communication is no doubt the future of communication. Due to the reliability of the current internet infrastructure, people still use traditional central office lines to make their normal calls while VoIP is used just for long-distance or international calls. The Gx series systems (G1-824, G2-1648, GDS-40, GDS-600, G1E) provide the optional interfaces that allow the existing systems to meet the modern IP communication requirements.

The G1E series has 4 to 12 outside line capacity with PSTN, ISDN and VoIP capability. The extensions start with 4 SLT and 8 DK extensions, expandable to 20 SLT or 24 DK extensions. The GDS is the most flexible system. The GDS-40 has a maximum of 40 ports and the GDS600 up to 640 ports. In the near future, we will have GDS1280 (1280 ports). The above-mentioned systems could cover a wide range of capacity requirements. All the interface cards of GDS series are exactly same and that can reduce the tremendous inventory burden for telecommunication dealers.

Complete Telecom Interfaces

The technology is burgeoning in the telecom industry and with heavy resources invested in the past much equipment of Central Offices remains largely unchanged. The varying telecom interfaces are still the basic requirement. The GDS system provides many of those legacy telecom capabilities, such as analog Loop Start, E&M, DID, Ground Start, digital T1/ E1, ISDN Basic rate and Primary interfaces. Not only does it link to most Central Offices but also includes the IP trunk and IP station for future IP communication.
